zArchitecture Bridge (ZAB)

zArchitecture Bridge (ZAB) is a data transport application (or pipeline) that receives data from a data producer, such as SYSVIEW and SMF, that is channeled through Common Components and Services Data Mover, and transports it off-platform to a data event-streaming application, such a Kafka. ZAB lets you transport various data types and sources, such as SMF records, metrics, and logs. Systems programmers use the REST API used to analyze and manage subscriptions.
